Middle Ear Implant

 SOUNDBRIDGE is a unique middle ear implant system for individuals with mild to severe sensory neural  or mixed hearing loss who don’t benefit from hearing aids or cannot use them due to medical reasons. SOUNDBRIDGE transmits sound directly to middle ear giving natural sound quality as ear canal is kept open ; preventing blocked feeling or occlusion effect experienced by hearing aid users. Suitable for kids above 5 years of age to adults

 

Externally worn SAMBA 2 Audio Processor picks up sounds and sends them through the skin to the internal SOUNDBRIDGE implant. SOUNDBRIDGE then takes these sound waves and turns them into mechanical vibrations and stimulate the cochlea, which sends sound signals to your brain and allows you to understand the sounds around you.
